Where it all began...

Fresh out of college with a Computer Information Systems degree, I was ready to conquer the tech world. I had visions of becoming a software developer or systems engineer—the future felt limitless.

Then reality hit. The 2008 financial crisis had devastated the job market, and the tech sector was reeling. After months of interviews and offers that barely covered rent, I found myself at a crossroads. That's when I discovered direct sales—a world with no safety net, no guaranteed income, just pure performance and potential. It was terrifying and exhilarating. I fell in love with the challenge of building something from nothing, developing people, and creating systems that could scale. Most importantly, I discovered my passion for helping others succeed.

The entrepreneurial leap

At 23, after helping build a sales organization of over 100 people, I made a decision that would define my career: I started my own company. Seven of the most driven individuals I knew joined me as we moved across the country with nothing but ambition and a shared vision.

Those years taught me everything about leadership under pressure, building culture from scratch, and turning vision into reality. We faced countless challenges, but watching my team grow, overcome obstacles, and achieve things they never thought possible was incredibly rewarding. That experience showed me that the right people in the right environment can accomplish extraordinary things.

When I eventually closed that chapter and returned east, I transitioned into sales consulting and leadership development. Though brief, this phase introduced me to someone who would change my trajectory—a recruiter who saw potential in me and convinced me that talent acquisition could be just as challenging, impactful, and meaningful as building my own company.

Finding my calling

That conversation sparked something profound. I realized that recruitment wasn't just about filling positions—it was about changing lives, building teams, and creating the foundation for companies to thrive. It combined everything I loved: understanding people, solving complex problems, and helping others reach their potential.

Over the past 12+ years at CyberCoders, I've refined my approach to go far beyond matching résumés to job descriptions. I've learned to see the person behind the credentials, understand the culture behind the company, and create connections that transform both careers and organizations.

As a full-desk recruiter, I manage every aspect of the process—from understanding your deepest hiring needs to ensuring successful long-term placements. My expertise spans technology, finance, healthcare, and manufacturing, with particular strength in executive leadership and specialized technical roles.

What drives me every day is witnessing transformation: seeing a candidate land their dream role and flourish, watching a company find that missing piece that accelerates their growth, or observing someone I placed years ago now leading their own teams. These moments remind me why I chose this path—because when you connect the right person with the right opportunity, you're not just filling a position, you're changing the trajectory of careers, companies, and entire industries.
